Breaking:Brighton and Holve Albion are expecting a departure as their star player is set to join La Liga giants

Sevilla, the dominant team in La Liga, has agreed to let Brighton sign left-back Valentin Barco on a temporary loan this summer after choosing him over Juan Larios of Southampton.

The Southampton defender Larios was recently offered to the Spanish team as a

possible replacement for the left-back that they have been searching for. Brighton has been willing to move on

Barco this summer, as the Seagulls are aggressively seeking to recruit Ferdi Kadioglu from Fenerbahce.

Sevilla has advanced in negotiations with Brighton for Barco because they prefer him to promising Saints player Larios. El

Sevillista, a Spanish publication, reports that Barco will join Seville on a temporary loan from the Premier League team.

The Spanish team will also have the option to extend the transfer permanently at a later time for a cost of €10 million.

Additionally, Barco’s whole pay will be paid by Sevilla while he is on loan at the Spanish team.

In order to finalise the formalities of his summer transfer to Sevilla, the defender will shortly go for Spain.

Larios’ transfer to Sevilla is no longer an option, therefore it’s unclear where the Saints star will end up when the window shuts.
