Latest Transfer:Leeds United have submitted a bid to sign Manchester United Midfielder

Hannibal Mejbri is a target for Leeds United in a new Manchester United trade.

Hannibal Mejbri, a midfielder for Manchester United, is reportedly a target for Leeds United, per the Daily Mail. The

newspaper said on Wednesday, August 21, page 61, that Burnley is in the lead to sign the 21-year-old, but Leeds is still keeping an eye on him.

Hannibal Mejbri spent the latter part of the 2023/24 season on loan at Sevilla, where he made only six appearances before returning to Manchester United.

Leeds United Interested in Hannibal Mejbri?

Daniel Farke is pressing for new signings before the transfer window closes on

August 30, aiming to secure at least four additions to the squad, according to The Athletic.

Georginio Rutter’s recent £40 million move to Brighton is just one of many departures from Elland Road this

summer, leaving the club yet to fill the gaps left by the exodus of several key players ,

Farke has found himself short on depth in a number of areas of the field, including the midfield.

He has lost players like Crysencio Summerville, Archie Grey, Glen Kamara, and now Rutter, among many others.

Mejbri could be a short-term loan option given his prior Championship experience

with Birmingham City, where he made 41 appearances and even scored his lone goal on a spectacular free kick.

The Tunisian international’s only drawback is his disciplinary history.

During his tenure at St Andrew’s Stadium, he received ten yellow cards, and he is sometimes criticised for being overly eager to recover the ball.

Other clubs are interested in signing the Man United jewel before the window closes, so the Whites will obviously need

to move swiftly if they want to secure his signature, but that is not good news at Elland Road.

Leeds completed their business exceptionally late in the transfer

window, leaving just nine days remaining. This has infuriated the Elland Road supporters.
