Following a walkthrough on Wednesday afternoon, the Seahawks made available
an injury report that calculated player participation in the event of a complete
practice. Six players, including four important defensive backs, were listed as not participating.
Security On Wednesday, Devon Witherspoon, the cornerback, Jamal
Adams, Quandre Diggs, and Julian Love did not play. Diggs was held for rest, but
Love was held out for private reasons—he and his wife are expecting a baby this week.
Due to injuries, Witherspoon and Adams were unable to play on Wednesday and missed the Week 15 Monday Night Football victory over the Eagles. “We’re going to take it one day at a time, we don’t know yet,” Carroll stated.
When asked about the rookie cornerback, head coach Pete Carroll responded, “He’s much better, he’s moving around better just getting around the building, but we don’t know what’s going to happen during the week with him, so we’ll just have to take it one day at a time.”
