2004: J.D. Drew signs a five-year, $55 million contract with the Los Angeles Dodgers, leaving the Braves. During his
one and only season with Atlanta, Drew produced impressive numbers.305/.436/.569 with a 157 OPS+ and 28 home runs.
2014: Reliever Jason Grilli is signed by the Braves to a two-year deal. Over the
course of two seasons, he appeared in 57 games for Atlanta and pitched 50 2 1/3 innings with a 3.73 ERA. On May 31,
2016, the Braves sent him to Toronto in exchange for minor league pitcher Sean Ratcliffe.
