It seems like the Braves aren’t even taking into consideration any of the best
starting pitchers still available on the market as more dominoes start to fall in free agency. It seems like a trade will be
the means by which they add to their rotation, and after the holidays, those discussions ought to really get going.
The Braves have been linked to Corbin Burnes and Dylan Cease, two of the biggest names in the trade market. They
would both be fantastic additions, providing Atlanta’s historically excellent offense with one of the best rotations in
the league. All competitive teams with strong prospects, though, will be inquiring about Cease and Burnes. Alex
Anthopoulos won’t be able to pull that off easily, but maybe this time of year he returns to a familiar spot.

Although he’s had his moments and was named an All-Star in 2022 following an excellent first half, he isn’t much better

team win right now shouldn’t be a problem for Anthopoulos. He’s doing fine.
