|Lazio drop Sunderland’s Clarke and reach agreement for Ryan Kent
Lazio reportedly signed a deal with Fenerbahce for Ryan Kent and released Jack Clarke, a winger for Sunderland.
English winger Kent, a former player for Liverpool and Rangers, has verbally
agreed to an initial loan deal with Fenerbahce, according to Gianluca Di
Marzio, the transfer analyst for Sky Sport Italia.
Although the transfer fee has not yet been disclosed, it is said that the two
teams are currently getting ready to sign the necessary paperwork.
Kent would be the first player signed by Lazio during the winter transfer window, which closes at 19:00 GMT today.
The 27-year-old winger has made 15 appearances this season across all competitions, tallying one goal and two assists.
He might replace Felipe Anderson, who is anticipated to leave Lazio at the end of the season and sign a free transfer to Juventus, according to the report.
Jack Clarke, a winger for Sunderland, was let go by the Biancocelesti after their January €16 million deal was turned down, as a result of Kent’s transfer to the Stadio Olimpico.
