The €18 million midfield player will be itching to expose Chelsea’s error.

€18m midfielder will be desperate to show Chelsea their mistake

Prior to this weekend, Jacob Steinberg’s notes mention Billy Gilmour’s return to Stamford Bridge as a Brighton player.

Although Gilmour, at 22 years old, was gifted in every Chelsea game he participated in, he was not given opportunities, and a disastrous loan to Norwich ended his career. We have no

doubt that he will be eager to make an impression at Stamford Bridge, as

Steinberg suggests. Even though he was always a hard worker, the majority of

Chelsea supporters still disagree with the move to sell him. On Sunday, we

anticipate a warm reception for him at the stadium.

Gilmour’s time in Brighton didn’t start off well either. He had to put in a lot of effort to demonstrate his abilities to Roberto De Zerbi, but it appears that he has now done so to a good extent.

Regardless of your thoughts on the transaction, it’s good to see a player who we still like performing well. Naturally, we hope he has a rough game this weekend, but other than that, we hope to see him leading the charge against teams like Tottenham and Arsenal in games for years to come.
