|Spurs enter the race to sign a £39 million star in the wake of Jota’s loan interest.
The Evening Standard reports that Spurs have entered the race to sign Nice center-
back Jean-Clair Todibo. Todibo is reportedly one of the defenders that the
north Londoners are hoping to sign before the January transfer window opens.
The France international, 23, is valued at about £39 million by Nice, but he has
also drawn interest from teams like Manchester United and Liverpool.
Spurs are making a bigger push for Al-Ittihad’s Jota, a winger who was formerly at Celtic under current Spurs manager Ange Postecoglou. It’s reported that the north Londoners are getting ready to make a loan offer before the January transfer window opens.
Jota hasn’t played much for the Saudi team this season because players like N’Golo Kante, Fabinho, and Karim Benzema signed summer transfers to Al-Ittihad.
