Despite the lost,Brighton has discovered yet another gem that Chelsea could steal.

Brighton have unearthed another gem for Chelsea to poach

The young Argentine was the star of the Seagulls on Sunday at Stamford Bridge, arriving on the same day that Enzo Fernandez left.

STAMFORD BRIDGE Three seemingly connected points. But advancement? Almost certainly not, even if Chelsea managed to win despite using 10 men for the majority of the match. After only their second Premier League victory at Stamford Bridge this season and only their fourth of 2023, the Chelsea players were bursting with emotion at the end of a tense afternoon.

A confrontational conclusion diverted focus from more general inquiries about the larger picture. Referee Craig Pawson

had a difficult time maintaining control over the game and caused a great deal of

confusion at the end when he gave Brighton a penalty in the tenth minute of

added time. What was evident to most was demonstrated by VAR: Levi Colwill

was struck by the ball in the face rather than the hand.

Brighton went all handbags at the final whistle, frustrated at their lack of ability to force a result, and Chelsea catered to

them with some of their own macho posturing. Naturally, this along with the

other three points meant that Mauricio Pochettino was spared the blame for

what was an uninspired, if valiant, performance.

Under Pochettino, Chelsea has not yet developed a distinct identity. He acknowledges this and argues that

before identity can be determined, relationships must grow and players

must mature together. As a result, the most expensively assembled team in

Premier League history must still struggle without a clear focal point or

grand plan. Any kind of victory is appreciated after Newcastle’s collapse

the previous week. However, there wasn’t much to show the way forward

until Cole Palmer replaced Raheem Sterling late in the game.

Pochettino stated, “We needed to win the three points.” “The players on our team are young. We must get better and

discover why the Premier League is the greatest league in the world. We aim to

perform well and demonstrate that We are concerned. I’m honored. It was hard

after Newcastle, and Brighton is a hard team to play against. We are Chelsea, and

victory is expected. However, the players are finding it challenging in the current

scenario. We must continue demonstrating our unity as a team. In

this league, it takes a full year to start growing and displaying true confidence.

Enzo Fernandez has a month to make up ground based on that computation. Even though his first goals for Chelsea were

welcomed, Fernandez, who signed for a Premier League record £106 million,

would not say that they were worth the money eleven months later. Even though

their partnership is only a few million pounds less expensive, he hasn’t yet

relinquished control or authority. Conor Gallagher, who is more limited than the

other two midfield players, has actually been the most influential of the three,

and Chelsea lost him to a second yellow card just before halftime.

Brighton lacked the cutting edge they had demonstrated under Roberto De Zerbi and was missing eleven first-team players. Even though they had the majority of the game’s control, particularly in the second half, they were unable to get Robert Sanchez to work until much too late. They were behind by two goals on both occasions and were unable to gain momentum until added time.

Chelsea had not done well. Nobody was doing it if Sterling wasn’t. Four minutes later, Levi Colwill scored his first goal for Chelsea using the same method. Nicolas Jackson headed the ball back across goal this time, allowing Colwill to nod in the winner against his former team.

De Zerbi might have felt compelled to check his pockets to make sure he hadn’t had them picked too. He called the goals “Stupid.” When Fernandez added Chelsea’s third from the penalty spot after James Milner was harshly judged for a challenge on Mykhailo Mudryk, the theft would become more than he could handle.

Just before halftime, Facundo Buonanotte gave some hope with a goal that defied his age of eighteen. Players who are left-footed are encouraged to cut in off the right. Chelsea was aware of this but was powerless to stop him. Buonanotte, who was Brighton’s best player, elevated his game with a shot that Sanchez was unable to stop. For £100 million less, Buonanotte arrived on the same day as Fernandez. You can be sure he won’t be leaving the Amex for £6 million.
