A big step toward their future home, Everton has confirmed the dates that

games will be held at their new Bramley-Moore Dock stadium.

Although the Toffees’ new home ground is still being built, it won’t be long before they relocate to Liverpool’s famed docks.

Colin Chong, the interim CEO of Everton, has disclosed the date of the inaugural competitive football matches to be played at the new stadium.

The Toffees’ final campaign at their cherished Goodison Park home will begin in 2024–2025.

Matches will then be played at the brand-new 52,888-capacity Bramley-Moore Dock stadium, which is situated in the

city’s Vauxhall neighborhood along the banks of the Mersey River, starting with the 2025–2026 season.

The club has additionally disclosed that there are no build delays to blame for the decision.

In a blog post on Friday, Chong stated, “The first competitive football fixtures

for our senior men’s side will take place at our new stadium at the start of the 2025/26 season.”

First and foremost, we want to be crystal clear: we did not decide to move in the

middle of the season due to a construction hold-up.

The decision was made by the club based

on a variety of factors, including business acumen, a thorough examination of the necessary logistics,

an assessment of the possible effects on our football operations, and—most

importantly—fan input gathered fromour most recent stadium migration

survey, which was answered by nearly 10,000 Evertonians.

To get our Safety Certificate, we will need to hold test events at our new location,
