Major injury setback: falcons has announced some of their key players will be out due to injuries as it’s confirmed

Falcons injury report: Updating the statuses of David Onyemata, Kaleb McGary and more as Carolina practice week continues

David Onyemata, Kaleb McGary and Kentavius Street missed practice Thursday.

Flory Branch, Georgia: David Onyemata, a defensive tackle, was one of three Falcons players who missed practice on Thursday.

Onyemata (ankle) participated in restricted practice on Wednesday. Defense lineman Kentavius Street (pectoral) and offensive lineman Kaleb McGary (knee/illness) were also not in action on Thursday.

While Street suffered his injury in the third quarter of the Falcons’ loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Onyemata and McGary were unable to play in Atlanta’s Week 14 match. According to head coach Arthur Smith, Street has already been declared out of the forthcoming game against the Carolina Panthers.

Thursday’s practice was limited for offensive lineman Chris Lindstrom (ankle), Jake Matthews (knee), and Drew Dalman (ankle), as well as linebacker Nate Landman (knee). Lindstrom and Matthews did not participate on Wednesday; Dalman and Landman were also limited.

On Thursday, defensive tackle LaCale London (knee) and cornerback Jeff Okudah (ankle) resumed full-practice drills. Okudah missed the Falcons’ most recent game, but he was back at full strength on Wednesday. Since last week, when he was declared to return from injured reserve, London has been included as a full participant in the status report.
