“Dream came true” – Player on his January move to Brighton, ready for Seagulls challenge

Adrian Mazilu is scheduled to join Brighton & Hove Albion in January 2024,

according to a July announcement by the Premier League team. The deal was agreed with Farul Constanța.

Brighton has agreed to pay the Romanian club €3 million for the 18-year-old’s transfer, according to Digi Sport.

In 45 appearances since joining the Romanian club from Gheorghe Hagi

Football Academy in 2022, the winger has nine goals and four assists.

Mazilu’s final match for his present club before moving to The Amex will be Farul

Constanța’s final match of the year, against Rapid București.

The Romania U21 international has revealed that he hopes to play for Farul

Constanța on Wednesday in an interview with Farul TV, which was transcribed by Digi Sport.

“I hope to go out there and give it my all because it will be my last match. Since I

began playing football here, it has special significance for me. I learned everything

from the academy. This is where I got the awards and prizes,” he remarked.

The attacker knows it will take some time for him to adjust to Brighton, which

he expects to be difficult. Even Nevertheless, he continues to seem to

intend to gain entry into the Seagulls’ starting lineup as quickly as feasible.

It will be challenging because I have to cope and adjust to their way of doing things. Mazilu clarified, “It is the

strongest league in Europe, where the most beautiful football is played.”

“I’ve wanted to play in the Premier League since I was a young child, and my dream has come true. I have to go ahead

and make my debut there. My goal is to make my Premier League debut there

and advance to the senior national squad,” the Romanian continued.

When the player moves to Brighton the following month, it will be intriguing to see what De Zerbi has planned for him.
