Southampton ‘ready’ to pay €30m to sign forward in January – Club would happily sell at that price

According to a rumor, Southampton has joined the competition to recruit Matías Soulé of Juventus in the winter market.

This season, the forward has been on loan to Frosinone, where he has excelled,

tallying six goals and dishing out one assist in 15 appearances. Because of this,

he has caught the interest of other teams, and the Saints have now been included.

La Stampa, which Tutto Juve is relaying, claims Southampton is “ready” to submit

a €30 million proposal to sign the Argentine in January.

Gazzetta dello Sport reported earlier today that Crystal Palace and Newcastle United are leading contenders for the South American. It was also clarified that the Turin team might give him up for €25 million during the upcoming transfer window.

The Old Lady would want to transfer the player to Southampton next month in order to strengthen their financial position, as La Stampa now reports that Southampton is prepared to give €30 million.

The report doesn’t say whether Soulé is open to joining the Championship team, which is strange given the Premier League’s interest in him. However, there’s a chance Carlos Alcaraz’s success at St. Mary’s will persuade him.

Someone to watch out for.
