Nuno Espirito Santo, Tricky Trees’ new manager, speaks as…

After Steve Cooper was fired, the Portuguese signed a contract worth roughly £5 million a season until June 2026. His first assignment will be to turn around a losing streak of 13 games, which begins on Saturday at home against Bournemouth.

Although Nuno did not discuss his January plans in detail, it is obvious that

he wants to cut down on the number of players on the team. Willy Boly and

Morgan Gibbs-White, who both played for Nuno at Wolves, will be there, at least.

Nuno remarked, “I have never led a team this size.” That presents a challenge for all of us, including the players who haven’t played frequently before, but it’s also a fresh opportunity for them.

“In order for us to have more options, I want everyone to be committed and involved.” We will be a well-organized team that gives it their all, I can assure you of that.

Before his final season was marred by Raul Jimenez’s potentially career-ending injury and the lingering effects of the Covid-19 pandemic, which seemed to affect Nuno more than most, Nuno enjoyed three incredibly successful years at Wolves.

After a disastrous four months at Tottenham, he spent 16 months with Al-Ittihad in Saudi Arabia, which came to an end earlier this year.

“I have no regrets regarding Tottenham,” he declared. “What happened, actually happened.” Being at Tottenham was a pleasure. We continue even though things did not go as planned. Being at Forest is a pleasure right now.

Steve made a significant contribution by relegating Forest to the Premier League. We’ll work to further his incredible legacy.
