Another done deal: Auburn tigers signs another incredible magnificent Big OT player.
|Big OT Favour Edwin signs with Auburn
Edwin is in his first season of football at Eagles Landing Christian Academy.
Beyond just being Favor’s favorite, Auburn is more.
Auburn announced on Wednesday night that Favour Edwin, a 3-star offensive
tackle from Eagles Landing Christian Academy (Ga.), has signed a contract.
Even though Florida made a push and Alabama had the majority of the
attention lately, the Tigers ultimately prevailed.
As you can see, the groundwork has already been done. Only a few players
separate them. That’s evident, Edwin said. “They are incredibly well-founded.
All they need is a few pieces to surround it. They are enrolled in their course. They
have some DBs, good linebackers, receivers, and a quarterback on the way.
Just tidying up a few small items. I would say that’s an eight-win squad there.
“Everyone here is family.” It is evident how the supporters cheer for their team. That’s what you require; assistance.”
Edwin, who is in his first year of football, is listed as being over 6-foot-6 and 300 pounds. He is originally from Nigeria. He
is ranked as the No. 680 player, No. 52 offensive tackle, and No. 80 player from
Georgia by the industry-created 247Sports Composite. Edwin is ranked
No. 71 among Georgian players and No. 56 among offensive tackles by 247Sports.
Edwin traveled to Auburn for the Iron Bowl, Ole Miss, and Georgia games.
“It was undoubtedly a fantastic game. It was very almost perfect. After the Iron Bowl, Edwin stated, “That’s what the Iron
Bowl is.” It merely demonstrates that the
group battled through everything. It, in
my opinion, demonstrates the team’s development. Simply said, I’m sorry for
the boys. I’m sorry to hear that kind of game is lost by anyone.”
Colton Hood, a rookie cornerback for Auburn, went to the same high school as
Edwin and helped him make the switch from basketball to football.
“That’s my boy.” I play football because of
him,” Edwin remarked. To me, he is like a brother. He’s one of those guys that you
simply love to be around and he’s enjoyable. During the previous season,
he led the team. It’s evident that he has a
promising career ahead of him.
It accomplishes a lot. I want someone I
can lean on when things go tough in December when I come in. He’s been
there for me since high school, and I am grateful for that. Having a long-time
friend with whom you can chat is beneficial, in my opinion.
that is beneficial. Ever since I received my offer,
he has been telling me what a
wonderful location it is. I’ve been longing to visit him. Aside from football, Colton is
incredibly close to me, so he won’t lie to me.”
With 20 signees today, Auburn holds its position as the 7th-ranked team in the 247Sports team recruiting rankings.
