A 2020 Heisman Trophy winner and former Alabama wide receiver is preparing to play through an injury.

DeVonta Smith was limited on Saturday and skipped practice on Thursday and Friday. The former Crimson Tide five-star receiver sustained a knee injury. Former first-round draft pick, he is in his third season with the Philadelphia Eagles.

Ever since high school, Smith has been the ultimate competitor.

 

He won two College Football Playoff National Championships (in 2017 and 2020) while playing at Alabama. In the 2017 CFP National Championship game against Georgia, he made the game-winning touchdown reception
