‘Tactics were spot on’ – Michael Beale praised by Sunderland fans after Hull City win in Championship

Sunderland fans were quick to voice their opinions on today’s win against Hull City when asked by The Echo.

On Boxing Day, Sunderland defeated Hull City 1-0, driving fans of the Black Cats into frenzy at the MKM Stadium.

For the match, Michael Beale substituted Jenson Seelt for the injured Niall Huggins, while Bradley Dack replaced

Abdoullah Ba following his costly error against Coventry City. Although Chris

Rigg did not start, Sunderland gained momentum from the addition of

Timothee Pembele, a summer transfer, and Alex Pritchard to their bench.

Jack Clarke’s drive and goal in the second half gave the Black Cats the victory, and it was Beale’s first victory as Sunderland manager. However, here’s a look at how Sunderland supporters responded to the victory when The Echo asked them on our social media accounts:

Ian Fraser stated, “I’ll hold off on making a decision until Friday night after Rotherham,” while Bradley Sharp stated, “I felt our setup was excellent. prevented them from playing in the middle, which is where the majority of their success originates. forced them long and pressed high. Excellent performance that was made away from home.”

“Huuuuuuuuge 3 points, some big performances today,” said Mal Dickenson, while Robin remarked, “Thought tactics were spot on.” Though I still believe Rusyn should have started that game. We need to shoot more, but our build-up play was much more measured.”

Andy continued: “Brilliant effort that – wasn’t at all hopeful but so glad we’ve responded to the nightmare performance against Cov – let’s kick on.” “Just can’t believe we are playing games without strikers,” David Wood continued.
