After motorcycle accident in the Cook Islands, former Rabbitohs player passes away. 

The death of former South Sydney NRL player Troy Dargan has left the rugby league community in mourning once

more, four days after Queensland State of Origin star Karl Webb lost his battle with motor neurone disease.

Dargan’s management group, Aria, released a statement on Monday stating that the 26-year-old football player had

passed away in the Cook Islands, where he was vacationing with family, following a motorcycle accident.

The statement read, “We share the news of TJ’s tragic passing overnight on behalf of the Dargan family with heavy hearts.”

TJ was in a motorcycle accident while on vacation with his family in the Cook

Islands. TJ was a great friend and longtime client of Aria Sports Group in addition to being a great guy.

He played for the Manly Sea Eagles, Souths Rabbitohs, Brisbane Broncos, and Parramatta Eels before joining the Canberra Raiders in the present. TJ is a

devoted brother to Tamalee and Korokai, a cherished son to Troy and Wendy, and a friend to a plethora of people.

“The family has requested privacy during this extremely upsetting period. There will be a huge gap in our hearts for TJ, and his family is in our prayers.
