Former 1,000-yard rusher linked to the Green Bay Packers as concerns about AJ Dillon’s future swirl

The future of the coaching staff and the roster are major concerns as the Green

Bay Packers 2023 regular season draws to a close. But the year’s most important query has already been resolved: The

quarterback of the present and the future is Jordan Love. Love has thrown for 3,587 yards, 27 touchdowns, 11

interceptions, and a 62.5% completion percentage through 15 games. His quarterback rating is 91.8.

Of course, the most significant question this season was the one pertaining to

their quarterback. Whether they qualify for the NFL Playoffs or not, the season

can be deemed successful in some ways because they now know they can center their strategy around Love

Regretfully, a strong quarterback does not automatically translate into a strong

team. Moreover, an offense requires more than just a talented quarterback to succeed. The Packers’ run game has been

weak all season long in 2023. Aaron Jones became the first Packers wide receiver or running back to reach 100

yards in a game this season with the team’s 33-30 victory over the Carolina Panthers on Sunday.

The Packers have no doubts about who will start at quarterback in the future,

but there are a lot of unanswered questions at running back.

The Packers’ running back room is not entirely certain after this season, even though Jordan Love will receive

contract extension this offseason and the wide receivers and tight ends are still under rookie contracts.

Though AJ Dillon wishes to remain in Green Bay, it’s unclear if other teams share his desire. Dillon will be a free

agent. Although Jones still has one year left on his deal, as football fans are aware, the NFL does not care about that.
