Following the news on Friday, Leeds regular Farke could be unexpectedly fired.

Now that David Brooks has surfaced, Daniel James at Leeds United could face the ax from Daniel Farke.

The Whites are considering a loan move for Bournemouth star David Brooks,

according to journalist Alex Crook, who spoke with talkSPORT on Friday.

Leeds is reportedly looking to add the 26-year-old to their ranks in order to increase their chances of making an

instant return to the Premier League.

The player hasn’t played a lot of football for the Cherries this season.

Yes, two of the high flyers in that division, Leeds United and Southampton,” remarked Crook. “I’ve

been informed that Leeds has a packed schedule for January to make sure they can return to the Premier League when they ask to.

Obviously, Wales has these important playoff games for a spot at the European

Championships coming up, so I think Brooks will be looking to go out and try and get some game time under his belt.

He hasn’t played much football this season, certainly not as much as he would’ve expected to.”

Leeds would have a versatile player in the attacking line with Brooks, despite reports that they are looking to add a No. 10 to their roster.

Furthermore, Dan James, his Wales teammate, would likely suffer greatly

from his arrival as it is unlikely that Farke will bench Joel Piroe in his starting lineup.

James’ spot in the starting lineup could be in jeopardy because Brooks has spent

the majority of his playing career on the right side of a front three. .

Given how well James has played in a front four with Piroe, Georginio Rutter,

and Crysencio Summerville this season, Farke’s decision to bench him would be unexpected.

In 22 Championship games this season, James has seven goals and four assists.

He also creates eight great opportunities and plays 1.6 passes per ninety minutes.

Though it seems unlikely that Leeds would try to add Brooks to the substitutes bench, benching James would

be the most sensible course of action, even though it would seem like a harsh move at first.
