From Week 8, the Green Bay Packers’ offensive coordinator hopes that improvements have been the difference.

In a game played in late October, the Green Bay Packers took on the Minnesota Vikings. The Green Bay

Packers offense struggled in that game, and they ultimately lost 24-10. Adam Stenavich, the offensive coordinator, is

hoping to use the upcoming rematch as an opportunity to improve his team’s chances of winning on Sunday.

When addressing the performance of the Green Bay Packers offense against the Minnesota Vikings in their most recent

game, Stenavich did not hold back when speaking with reporters. With a nearly frustrated gasp, he reflected as follows:

How awful was it for Stenavich to see this side of the last game against the Vikings?

Much remained to be desired on a night when Jordan Love completed 24 of 41

passes for 229 yards, one touchdown, and one interception. The offense just

did not click that night, especially with Love being sacked four times for a loss of 33 yards.

The receiving group had trouble breaking through and getting their quarterback some space. The receivers,

none of whom had more than four receptions in the afternoon, had a difficult day’s work along with a few drops.

The offense managed to convert just 5 of 14 third downs and went 1 for 4 on

fourth down opportunities, while throwing for almost 100 fewer yards. It

took the Green Bay Packers until roughly four minutes before halftime to record their first touchdown.

It makes sense why Stenavich described the afternoon as the team’s lowest point of the season given how it unfolded.

Naturally, this offense has had difficult times since then, but throughout the

remainder of their games, they have managed to score at least 19 points. He emphasized the game’s long-term advantages once more, saying that the

Green Bay Packers offense must now rise to the challenge of facing the skilled Minnesota Vikings team if they hope to make the playoffs.

Without TJ Hockenson and even with a backup, this Vikings team has demonstrated its ability to gain yards off of big plays. The Green Bay Packers

offense would probably need to score at least 28 points even when playing at maximum efficiency to match the Vikings’ scoring output.

Even though Jaire Alexander’s absence will make things a little more difficult, Jordan Love and this offense should aim

to build on their most recent 33-point performance and position the team for the postseason
