Transfer update news:A Brighton player predicts the transfer of Roberto De Zerbi amid interest from AC Milan and Real Madrid

Brighton star makes Roberto De Zerbi transfer prediction amid AC Milan and Real Madrid links

Adam Lallana is convinced Roberto De Zerbi will manage a “top team” but
doesn’t believe he wants to leave Brighton anytime soon.
After leading Albion to sixth place in the Premier League and the Europa League semifinals, as well as the striking style he has his squad playing, the Italian has won over a lot of supporters.
The 44-year-old has consequently been connected to a number of teams, including AC Milan and Real Madrid, but
he has consistently expressed his happiness with the Seagulls and is
currently in negotiations to extend his contract, which expires in 2026.
The seasoned midfielder Lallana has now discussed what De Zerbi should expect going forward, how Brighton’s players view him, and why he fits in at the Sussex team.
The 35-year-old went on to say that while many managers like to “jump ship” when a significant opportunity arises, the former Shakhtar Donetsk manager is a different breed.
Lallana stated to talkSPORT: “There’s no doubt that interest is already being
shown. Although I believe Roberto is so forthright and honest, I’m not sure he
wants that right now. Brighton isn’t stupid enough to be taken aback by that.
“He is also aware of the kind of group he has here—one devoid of player politics and egos. I believe that a part of him
believes that he won’t find a group as nice as this one somewhere else.

“But for a manager to think like that, that’s rare. Usually, managers want to

jump ship and want to go where there’s more money involved or bigger transfer

budgets or whatever. But Roberto’s that genuine. He started with nothing in the

fourth league in Italy and he constantly reminds us that that’s where he was.

“He started with nothing, so he doesn’t need anything, he just needs a bag of

balls, some cones, and a bit of grass and we’ll go out and train. That’s all he wants.

And when you’ve got a group of 20 honest fellas who are worshipping him

and following him, that’s all he wants, it makes him happy.

It’s a reality that interest will inevitably arise and that he will manage a very,

very good team. However, particularly right now, he recognizes that he’s got it

good here and that, as players, we can all sense that.
