Transfer update news:Auburn is in the running to sign a very good receiver from Miami OH

Auburn in the running to land Miami OH receiver transfer Gage Larvadain

The Tigers are pursuing another transfer portal receiver.
In order to strengthen their receiving corps for 2024, Auburn is pursuing a new receiver.
The Tigers have reached out to Miami (OH) wide receiver Gage Larvadain, a junior transfer, according to On3.
Larvadain caught 42 catches for 679 yards and six touchdowns in ten games with the Redhawks. Lavardain had previously played two seasons and 1,252 receiving yards at Southeastern University. He has reportedly spoken with representatives from Auburn, Baylor, Cal, Duke, Houston, Michigan State, Miami, South Carolina, Tulane, and UCF, according to On3.
Robert Lewis, a transfer wide receiver from Georgia State, has already committed to Auburn. After racking up 70 receptions for 877 yards and seven receiving touchdowns, the former three-star prospect was named to the Third-Team All-Sun Belt. Early in the season, against Charlotte, Lewis turned in his greatest performance to date as a 5-foot-11 wide receiver, hauling in six catches for 220 yards and two scores.
Sam Jackson V, a quarterback from California, has transferred to Auburn and plans to become a wide receiver. In high school, Jackson was Payton Thorne’s favorite receiver.
In 2024, the Tigers want to get better at receiving the ball. The corps is already on the right track to advance under Hugh Freeze in the upcoming season after securing the commitment of four-star Malcolm Simmons and Bryce Cain, as well as five-stars Cam Coleman and Perry Thompson.
Lavardain could add to what is becoming a stacked receiver room.
