|Leeds United youngster Kris Moore is drawing loan interest from Scottish Premiership side Hibernian, as per a report from the Yorkshire Evening Post
Leeds United players who are rising through the ranks of the senior team are having difficulty making an impression on Daniel Farke’s
settle for the U21s, as the German starting lineup will not change for the
majority of the season.Renowned defender Kris Moore is one of these players. He is the most recent member of
the club’s youth team to receive recognition for his performances in youth football.
Although he hasn’t yet established himself in the starting lineup, he did come off the bench in the Carabao Cup victory over Shrewsbury Town. He has
played frequently for the Premier League 2 U18 and U23 teams.Moore has made eight starts for the U21s this season
in the Premier League 2 competition. He has worn the captain’s armband during
each of these while playing right back.Moore is currently listed as wanted, according to Joe Donnohue of the
Yorkshire Evening Post. According to reports, Hibernian, a team based in
Edinburgh, is interested in signing him on a winter loan. Due to injuries and the
fact that they will be missing key players for the AFCON and AFC Asian Cup tournaments, Hibs may face a player crisis.
However, a player can only advance so far while participating in youth football.
Moore and other young players need to make the transition to senior football.
If the young player from Leeds United goes to Hibernian on loan, he would receive that boost. If he were to stay at
Thorp Arch with the Whites kids, he would be able to play at a higher
level. This would be a great January transfer that would work out well for Leeds United and the player. But only time will tell if anything is successful.
