Transfer update:Emery has approved the sale of Aston Villa fantastic players in January

Emery has approved the sale of Aston Villa duo in January

The fact that Unai Emery’s Aston Villa club is only three points behind Liverpool at the top of the table is sufficient proof that they are playing better than they have in recent memory.

Aside from the strange unexpected outcome, the Villains have been amazing to watch and well-deserve of their second-place finish in the Premier League standings.

Respectfully, Villa is the surprise package among all the clubs in the top division, and it could work to their advantage in the second half of the season when the squad may be under more pressure than ever.

With the Europa Conference League knockout stages still to come, 2023–2024 may prove to be a historic season for the Midlanders.

However, things haven’t quite worked out for some players, and The Athletic (subscription required) reports that the team is willing to move Leander Dendoncker and Calum Chambers this month.

Dendoncker has done a little better with 410 minutes played (WhoScored), while Chambers has only played 178 minutes (WhoScored) all season, all of which have been in the Conference League.

The two players, who are 28 years old, will undoubtedly seize the opportunity to restart their careers somewhere else, but any clubs interested in purchasing them will be getting individuals who are supposedly at the top of their game and eager to win.
