Holmon Wiggins, the wide receivers coach for Alabama, is reportedly leaving the Crimson Tide to accept a similar role at Texas A&M.

The Auburn Tigers can benefit from this situation because Ryan Williams, a five-star receiver, is involved.

Williams has been committed to Alabama since October 2022, but as one

of the top players in the 2024 class, the Auburn Tigers are attempting to make a late push for him.

His thoughts are probably not on his college choice, but rather on getting ready to play in the Under Armour All-

American Game alongside Auburn receiver signees Perry Thompson and Cam Coleman.

However, after the All-American game is over, Wiggins’ departure for Texas A&M

may have an impact on Williams’ recruitment and benefit the Auburn Tigers somewhat.

Coach Freeze and the staff will have another chance to try to land a player who many believe could be a first-round pick in the NFL Draft in the future when Williams visits the Plains on February 3.

The Auburn Tigers’ wide receiver class would rank among the best in college football history if they could steal Williams away from the Crimson Tide.

This tweet was sent by Perry Thompson immediately following the announcement that Higgins would be going to College Station.
