Sad injury news: Auburn tigers announces a very terrible injury that one of their key players has sustain that will keep him out for a lengthy period of time

Injury update: Which Auburn players are out/questionable

Auburn is just about as healthy as it has been all season ahead of the Arkansas game.
Although the Auburn Tigers have had their fair share of injuries this season, it appears that the problem has temporarily abated.
With just one player being questionable at this stage of the season, the Tigers have a spotless record as good as can be expected.
The Tigers’ starting center has been senior offensive lineman Avery Jones,
who moved from East Carolina to Auburn this offseason. Jones was forced
off the field in Auburn’s game versus Mississippi State due to a leg injury.
Hugh Freeze, the head coach of Auburn, is hopeful that Jones will play against Arkansas, albeit if he does, it will be in a limited role.
Yes, I’m not sure yet. I haven’t discussed it with Robbie Stewart or the medical personnel yet. Avery’s condition is probably not going to be known until Wednesday or Thursday. Connor (Lew)
will continue to participate. I don’t think he will be ready to go out there and play
60-70 snaps after missing the previous three weeks, especially with a lower leg
issue. Therefore, it would still be a shared obligation if he is available.
Jones’ place has been filled by Kennesaw, Georgia, freshman Connor Lew, who has performed admirably. The blow of losing Jones has been lessened in part by Lew’s caliber of performance.
This season, Auburn’s offensive line play has improved, and it performs much better when fully healthy.
