Transfer update:What the Sunderland midfielder said after moving from Birmingham and Newcastle’s interest in Jobe Bellingham

Newcastle’s Jobe Bellingham interest and what Sunderland midfielder has said after transfer from Birmingham

Jobe Bellingham signed for Sunderland from Birmingham City during the summer transfer window.

Jobe Bellingham, a midfielder for Sunderland, is apparently being watched by other Premier League clubs in addition to Newcastle.

Bellingham, 18, joined the Black Cats from Birmingham during the summer, and thus far this season, he has started 24 of the team’s 26 Championship games.

Prior to Bellingham’s transfer to Wearside, the Daily Mail reported that Newcastle had spoken with Bellingham’s

family about the possibility of signing the adolescent. According to the report,

Newcastle has kept an eye on the player thus far this season.

Bellingham had previously been linked to Rangers and Liverpool, but Tottenham is reportedly keeping an eye on his development.

Bellingham is anticipated to start for Sunderland this Saturday at the Stadium of Light in their crucial FA Cup third-round matchup against Newcastle.

In an interview with Sky Sports last month, Bellingham talked about his move to Sunderland and stated, “It was a

big decision for me.” Although it was difficult emotionally, it was obvious from

a football standpoint because of Sunderland’s commitment to developing

young players and their desired direction.

“Young players need to be in a setting where they can demonstrate their abilities, and this team provides that. We play without any pressure, and occasionally it seems like we’re buddies in the park—which might be detrimental! However, I absolutely enjoy the feeling.”

“You don’t really realize [how big the club is] until you get here and play in front of the fans,” Bellingham continued in reference to the Black Cats’ supporters. And before they leave their house, they try to sell everything. It isn’t always that way. It’s incredibly distinctive and special.”
