Leeds United are facing competition from Sunderland for Nathaniel Adjei

Adjei, 21, has made an impression for Swedish team Hammarby during the past 12 months, and he has been heavily linked to Leeds. This month, a number of clubs are eager to introduce the Ghanaian to the English game.Nathaniel Adjei has been linked to Leeds United, but it appears that Daniel Farke’s team will have difficulty signing him during the January transfer window.

Leeds was mentioned by Fotboll Direkt earlier this month as one of the teams interested in signing Adjei. There are now links between Sunderland and the 21-year-old central defender.

To improve their chances of being promoted from the Championship, Sunderland reportedly wants to sign Adjei on a loan from Hammarby IF during the January transfer window, according to The Sun.Celtic and Rangers of the Scottish Premiership are interested in the defender, as are Middlesbrough and Preston North End.Leeds has eight points less than first-place Leicester City and second-place Ipswich Town in the Championship standings after 16 games played.

Sunderland has 26 points from 16 games, good for sixth place in the standingsDaniel Farke, the head coach of Leeds, has enough options at the back, in my opinion. The Whites currently have two primary center backs in Joe Rodon and Pascal Struijk.

Rodon, one of Leeds’ best players this season, joined on loan from Tottenham Hotspur in the summer of 2023.Liam Cooper is still alive and available for assistance whenever required. Not to be forgotten is Charlie Cresswell.

Although Cresswell is only 21 and Cooper is 32, a seasoned center back in his mid-20s might be a valuable addition to the team in the long run. However, I do not believe Leeds needs to signAdjei

.Adjei is only 21 years old.and participates in Swedish league
