Romeo Doubs’s Updated Injury After Coughing Up Blood Will Thrill Green Bay Packers Supporters

The return of a few of their injured players is encouraging news for the

Green Bay Packers as they get ready to play the Dallas Cowboys in the Wild Card round. Romeo Doubs, the wide receiver,

participated in their most recent practice, which was one of the most encouraging developments.

For those unaware, during their victory over the Chicago Bears in Week 18, Doubs nearly suffered an injury. With just 11 plays played during the game, he

was sidelined with a chest injury just over three minutes into the first quarter for the Packers.

The reports that surfaced later stated that Doubs had to visit a hospital and was only able to rejoin the team after the

game. It appears that he was also coughing up blood, according to The Athletic’s Matt Schneidman. After that,

head coach Matt LaFleur called him day-to-day, but there were good reasons to be concerned about his future.

As previously noted, Doubs participated in practice with the team on Wednesday,

albeit in a limited capacity, which is encouraging for the Packers. Nevertheless, it’s a positive move for

Green Bay, which wants to have the majority of its injured players back for their game against the Cowboys.

Rome Doubs’ ability to travel to the postseason with the Green Bay Packers

on Sunday is still uncertain. Still, the team will undoubtedly want him to be there. The 23-year-old wide receiver led

the team in receiving touchdowns during the regular season, tying Jayden Reed with eight

Doubs is crucial to the Packers because he leads the team in receiving yards (674), receptions (59), and receiving yards (674).

Let’s hope Doubs has no problems when he returns to the field. When facing one

of the top defenses in the NFL, the Packers truly need his assistance.
