ATLANTA — The Atlanta Braves signed left-hander Max Fried and A.J. Minter to
contracts, making them the final players eligible for arbitration

In seven seasons with Atlanta, 29-year-old Fried is 62-26 with a 3.03 ERA. In 2022, he was an All-Star and finished
second in the NL Cy Young voting with a record of 14-7 and 2.48 ERA. After missing nearly three months of the
previous season due to a strained left forearm, the left-hander finished 8-1 with a 2.55 ERA. However, late in the
season, he had to return to the injured list due to a blister problem that kept coming back.
