Breaking news:star player talks on his possibility of signing for the Auburn tigers

REPORT: 5-star DL LJ McCray says there’s a ‘high possibility’ that he will not sign on Signing Day

The huge Auburn target may not sign today.
One of Auburn’s biggest targets may not sign on Early Signing Day.
According to Hayes Fawcett of On3, there’s a high possibility that 5-star defensive lineman will not sign on Early Signing Day.
In Fawcett’s post on X, he says, “Five-Star DL LJ McCray tells me there is a “high possibility” that he will no longer sign today The Florida commit is ranked as the No. 1 DL in the ‘24 Class.”
McCray is currently committed to the Florida Gators. Reports have gone from all over the place regarding a potential flip. Florida, Florida State, and Auburn all seem to be in the race for McCray’s services.
Several have reported that Auburn feels good about their chances with McCray
and it’s easy to see how a potential delay could help the Auburn Tigers. With
Florida feeling good about keeping McCray in their class, a delay in his
announcement and signing could give Hugh Freeze more time to pursue
McCray and it shows that he needs more time to listen.
On Oct. 21, McCray made a verbal commitment to Billy Napier and the
Florida Gators. That did not mean the Tigers would give up and he took an
unofficial visit to the Plains on Dec. 9 that appears to be a prime reason for McCray
to sign with Auburn. He also took all of his official visits, too.
Auburn, Georgia, Florida State, Florida, and Miami were on McCray’s official visit list. This is a prime illustration of how 5-star recruitment often operates in the South. This is a roster of powerful players from storied college football teams.
