Leicester City is eager to sign a player from Manchester City.

According to The Athletic, Leicester City wants to sign Callum Doyle, a

Manchester City loanee, permanently. The left-footed defender was brought on loan for the 2023–24 season by Leicester

City manager Enzo Maresca, who took advantage of his connections with Manchester City.

According to a previous report by The Athletic, talks regarding a permanent or

obligation-to-buy agreement were part of the season-long loan deal for Callum Doyle. The 20-year-old left-back for

Leicester City had a strong start to his career, but a knee injury derailed his progress. He is currently recovering.

In spite of the loss, a recent report from The Athletic suggests that the Foxes are still keen to sign Callum Doyle

permanently, underscoring their intention to keep him around after the initial loan agreement.

Doyle’s comeback to the Leicester City starting lineup and his improved play

will probably be key factors in any talks regarding a long-term transfer.

The backing of supporters and Enzo Maresca’s association with Manchester City may prove advantageous. Furthermore, Leicester City’s chances of

landing a permanent contract may be enhanced if they win promotion from the Championship.

With all of the talent Man City currently has at the back, it’s also challenging to see a route to the first team right now.
