After a long injury he sustain will he be ready for 2024

Will Aggies QB Conner Weigman Be Ready For Start Of 2024?

After suffering a season-ending injury in September against Auburn, will Aggies
quarterback Conner Weigman be ready to open the season against Notre Dame?
A fresh talent was making waves in the SEC as the 2023 Texas A&M football
season got began. Conner Weigman, the highly-touted quarterback for the Aggies,
earned the starting position in College Station.
Weigman, however, suffered an ankle injury just 3.5 games into the season and would be out for the remainder of it.
“The worst news possible for A&M football fans. QB Conner Weigman’s foot injury is, in fact, a season-ending injury
for the rising SEC star, according to everything I’ve heard since yesterday
and from sources extremely close to the matter, TexAgs’ Billy Liucci said on X.
“Weight-bearing bone and roughly a 3.5-month recovery.”
Before getting hurt versus Auburn, Weigman was having a fantastic season.
And now, around 3.5 months following his September injury, the Aggies
quarterback has provided TexAgs with an update on his recuperation.
“So far, the rehab has gone well. The physician made a call a few days prior.
After examining my CT scans, doctor declared that all of the bones had
healed,” Weigman added. “It felt fantastic to be free of him. We simply need to get
back to feeling like ourselves, so we can work with the training personnel now.”
Conner expressed his excitement about reuniting with his teammates to work out.
“Reunited with the team and working out with the boys is an amazing feeling. It
was difficult for me to be by myself on the side because I couldn’t be in the fire
with my teammates,” Weigman remarked. “I’m excited about being back
with them and getting the ball rolling again.”
The main story in College Station this offseason is about Mike Elko, the new
head coach, and his staff. Weigman discussed the team’s atmosphere in light of Elko’s newfound perspective.
“This new administration is not messing around. I adore it. Discipline can be
found in the small things. Weigman stated, “The little things add up, so they

matter.” “It’s cool to see how it’s all coming together quickly.”

The Aggies kick off the season on Aug. 31 against Notre Dame at Kyle Field.
