Newcastle has a response to Kieran Trippier’s request from Bayern Munich. 

According to Keith Downie, Newcastle United has turned down Bayern Munich’s initial offer for Kieran Trippier.

According to his sources on Tyneside, Newcastle does not want to lose the

right-back on loan, even if there is a buyout clause, or in a long-term agreement.

But Trippier “may be open to the move,” Downie continues, citing reports from

Sky Germany that the 33-year-old has already reached a “verbale agreement” with the Bundesliga’s top team.

Some have speculated that our vice captain is keen to play with Harry Kane in Germany and has already turned his

head, but it appears Newcastle won’t allow him to leave during the last ten days of the January transfer window.
