Unbelievable: Auburn tigers ex player is set to return to the NFL and he said…….

Cam Newton says he would return to the NFL for 1 team

Former member of Auburn Since January 9, 2022, All-American and 2015 NFL MVP Cam Newton has not participated in a game. However, even as he developed a media profile, the quarterback has mentioned joining the NFL multiple times in the past two years.

According to Newton, “there aren’t 32 guys better than me.” During Auburn’s pro day the previous year, Newton declared he was “waiting on my opportunity – the right opportunity” after throwing. In addition, he mentioned three rookie quarterbacks he would like to coach as a teammate and nine quarterbacks he would be willing to back up. Furthermore, Newton stated in November that he had “a lot of interest” in playing football again, but that he had not heard from an NFL team about playing in the previous two years.

Newton stated that he would only play for one team in the NFL if he were to return at this time, during an appearance on NFL Network’s “Good Morning Football” on Tuesday.

Newton stated, “I don’t see myself leaving Atlanta. It’s always been about family, me having a family now. I don’t want to do it if it’s not in Atlanta. .. It’s one of those circumstances. I feel like, wow, I’ve actually become a full-time dad and YouTuber.

In 2023, the Atlanta Falcons saw a 7-10 record after starting two quarterbacks. This season, Desmond Ridder ran for 193 yards and five touchdowns on 53 runs in addition to completing 249 of 388 passes for 2,836 yards, 12 touchdowns, and 12 interceptions. Starting four games, Taylor Heinicke completed 74 of 136 passes for 890 yards, five touchdowns, and four interceptions. On 15 carries, he gained 124 yards and one touchdown.

The 2024 season is covered by contracts for both quarterbacks.

After the season, Arthur Smith, the Falcons’ coach, was sacked. Under Smith’s leadership, Atlanta has finished 7–10 in each of its three seasons.
