Eddie Howe assured that FFP won’t be a stumbling block to sign top targetĀ

Alfie Harrison, a talented young player from Manchester City, has officially joined Newcastle United, according to Eddie Howe.

The arrival of such a promising young player is a huge boost for the Magpies in January, even though they may not be

having much luck adding players to the first team. Harrison, 18, is well-regarded after his performances at Eastlands,

where he scored six goals and grabbed four assists for City’s youth team in the Under-18 Premier League last season.

Harrison will join the club’s youth program as soon as he gets to Tyneside,

as Newcastle keeps adding elite players from across the nation to their academy teams.

The club needs to be there. We need to sign gifted young players, whether they are 12-year-old locals for our academy or

players from other Premier League clubs who need to develop into the players they will be,” Howe went on Friday.

“It’s an avenue for us to try and improve our development of players

Regarding first-team additions, Howe raised the possibility of any new players

joining St. James’ Park prior to February. The Newcastle manager emphasized that

he wants to keep Callum Wilson, Miguel Almiron, and Kieran Trippier with the team.
