Transfer update:An incredible player for crystal palace is set to depart the club as he is seriously linked with another club

Saints Linked With Crystal Palace Winger

The latest name to be connected to Southampton is a right winger who is working for Crystal Palace, but is he any

better than what we have? Southampton has been considering right wingers more

than the bartender at the Conservative Party conference.

The Daily Echo reports that Jesurun Rak-Sakyi, a winger for Crystal Place, is the

most recent player to be connected to a loan transfer to St Mary’s.

According to reports, Saints are interested in the right-sided, left-footed

winger and may make a move for him in the coming days.

But does he offer much more than we already have ? he doesn’t have the

experience that the likes of David Brookes another name mentioned this

week has, so would he be a better option than switching Sam Edozie to the right ?

Rak- Sakyi has made six appearances for Palace in the Premier League this season,

all off the bench, but has been suffering from a hamstring injury that has kept him out since November.

However that is said to be cleared up now and he is about to return to the first team reckoning at Selhurst Park, last

season he was on loan at Charlton Athletic and prospered in League One

scoring 15 goals and providing 19 assists in all competitions.

That is an impressive record, but the question is still all about what he can offer Saints more than they already have,

Sam Edozie is perhaps more experienced due to his games in both the Premier

League and Championship and we also have Sam Amo-Ameyaw.

If we buy in another winger then it is the experience at this level or higher that we want rather than potential, so I would

suggest that Jesurun Rak-Sakyi is perhaps not the man for us at this time,

so he this could be more about his agent putting his name about and

Southampton is a good name to be linked with.
