West Ham dealt blow to hopes of signing forward after rejected bid

Jack Clarke is a winger that West Ham is interested in, but Sunderland has reportedly rejected an Italian club’s proposal for him since he is not for sale.

In an effort to manage the busy schedule, the Hammers have been eager to bolster

their roster in the January transfer window.

In addition to being sixth in the Premier League standings, David Moyes’ team advanced to the next round of the Europa League by winning their group.

The team is under further pressure because of this, as they have already lost Michail Antonio, Lucas Paqueta, and Jarrod Bowen to injuries.

They bought Kalvin Phillips on a loan from Manchester City to help them close

off the season strong, but they were also keeping an eye on Sunderland star Clarke.

Fabrizio Romano claims that the Championship club turned down a Serie

A team’s €16 million offer for the player because they will hold onto him until the summer transfer window.
