Leeds are coming with a full fire force this time around for Everton to finalize Ben Godfrey dealĀ

On February 1, Leeds United has until 11 p.m. to finalize any transfer transactions.

With the January transfer window drawing near, Leeds United is still

looking to bolster their roster. Leeds has lost players this month, and it appears

that more will leave before the transfer window closes, but they haven’t been able to sign anyone as of yet.

In light of that, let’s take a look at a few of the transfer news stories from this evening.

After their initial bid for Everton defender Ben Godfrey was turned down,

Leeds United is reportedly going to try again. The Whites are reportedly making

a late push for Godfrey because they want to strengthen their defense before this Thursday’s transfer deadline.

Leeds has already had one loan offer rejected, but the Whites are prepared to

persevere and try again to sign the England international for the balance of the campaign, according to Football Insider. Given his lack of playing time, it

is said that Everton is willing to let go of the defender this month; however, no deal has been reached as of yet.

The center back, who played for Norwich City under Daniel Farke at one point in

his career, has only made two league appearances for the Toffees this season

and will be eager to get more playing time in any capacity during the second half of the campaign.
