Joelinton future is in the sky as two Everton and Leicester city have submit bid to 

 

Joelinton of Newcastle United may have played his final game wearing the Magpies’ black and white uniform. He is

currently sidelined with a thigh injury and is not expected to play again this season.

Joelinton, whose current contract expires in July 2025, finds himself in a deadlock

with the club over a contract extension, despite the fact that he has been a truly

pivotal figure at the club for five seasons—mostly since Eddie Howe arrived after PIF overtook the team.

Joelinton, who has played football for Newcastle for five seasons in Tyneside

and scored 25 goals for the club in all competitions, may be one of the victims

of the Premier League’s profit and sustainability regulations, which may force the team to make difficult choices.

A few days prior, Howe stated, “He has 18 months left on his contract,” in

reference to Joelinton’s future. I’m determined for him to stay as his manager. I would want him to sign a

long-term contract because I adore him as a person and a player. However, it goes beyond that. There are Joe’s desires

and wishes. He has to be completely satisfied before he signs a contract. We haven’t yet reached that point.

reference to the possibility that Joelinton had played his final game for Newcastle. Though I’m not sure, it’s possible that

this is the case. For a club, the final 18 months of a contract are a vulnerable period. Joe’s future may be sold in the

summer, so the team needs to lock him down to a longer contract. That’s just the way things actually are.

Newcastle United is considering making an attempt to sign Everton midfielder

Amadou Onana in the summer in reaction to Joelinton’s injury and probable departure. Given his

impressive performance at Everton, the 22-year-old Belgian could be a great addition to Newcastle.

his Premier League background, not to mention the chance of being demoted to

the Championship given Everton’s appalling start to the season.

Onana’s negotiations are still in doubt, though, as Everton is anticipated to demand a high price for the talented midfield player come summer—even if they drop a division and are relegated from the Premier League.

 

Newcastle is also keeping an eye on Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall of Leicester City

and Ederson, a midfielder for Atalanta, who is expected to only be approached for a full transfer next summer due to his

lack of experience in the Premier League and his large fee demands in January, respectively

Dewsbury-Hall of Leicester City, who the Foxes reportedly value at £30 million,

has been in outstanding form this year, scoring nine goals and dishing out nine assists in the league.

As they did with James Maddison (to Tottenham) and Harvey Barnes (to

Newcastle) last summer, the Foxes are reportedly willing to let him go in a few

months. However, they would prefer to hang onto their playmaker for the second half of the season as they attempt

to secure their promotion to the Premier League just one year after being demoted from it.
