Leicester city and inter Milan are battling it out to resolve Sensi transfer drama

Although the Italian transfer window has ended, Inter and Leicester City are working quickly to find solutions to finish the Stefano Sensi transfer.

Even though it was practically finalized more than a week ago, they are still in the midst of negotiations right up to the wire.

Italian clubs have reached their player cap, but English clubs have until 23.00 GMT to sign players.

Sportitalia asked Sensi’s agent Beppe Riso how the deal was going this evening, to which he replied, “We still have to wait some more.”

According to Sky Sport Italia, Tuttomercatoweb, and other sources, Leicester City’s Financial Fair Play regulations are the source of the issue.

Although it appears that Sensi has already completed his medical examinations and is in England, the

process of transferring and obtaining a work permit continues to be problematic.

The Italians could be vulnerable to a loan without a purchase obligation because his contract with Inter expires on June 30.

Seemingly unable to commit to the €2.5 million transfer, Leicester would prefer

to pay €500,000 now with an additional €2 million in bonuses should they advance to the Premier League.
