Possible Transfer: Sunderland is set to finalize a deal as top target is out of the team squad.

Kieffer Moore latest as Ipswich, Sunderland and Cardiff transfer target is left out of Bournemouth squad

Championship transfer news with several clubs looking to sign another striker ahead of Thursday’s 11pm deadline.

Kieffer Moore is expected to complete a loan deal with Championship team Ipswich after being left off of Bournemouth’s squad for their Premier League match against West Ham.

Although Sunderland was interested in signing the 31-year-old forward,

Ipswich’s larger budget has put them in a strong position to close a deal. Town will

pay for 75% of the player’s salary, with extra payments to be added if Kieran

McKenna’s team is promoted this season, according to TalkSport’s Alex Crook.

Moore has drawn interest from Cardiff this month as well. The striker is eager to get more playing time before Wales’ March matchup with Finland in the Euro 2024 play-off semifinal. Thursday at 6:20 p.m., BBC Wales Football Correspondent Rob Phillips tweeted that Ipswich was still “hot favorites” but that “Cardiff have not given up hope” to sign Moore.

Ipswich, who are striving for automatic promotion this season and are now

second in the Championship standings, one point ahead of Southampton, would benefit greatly from signing Moore.
