Transfer update:this is what Leeds united have said about the in demand player

Leeds United Won’t Replace In-Demand Star

The Yorkshire Evening Post reports that Leeds United won’t be trying to sign a replacement if they loan out Ian Poveda on deadline day despite Sheffield Wednesday and Birmingham City showing interest.

Due to interest from two Championship clubs in the last hours of the move,

Poveda’s future has become more uncertain.

As the winter transfer window draws to a close, Birmingham and Sheffield

Wednesday are vying for the services of the Leeds winger on loan.

If a club can work out a deal with the Whites and the player’s representation, Leeds will be pleased to let him go.

According to rumors, Leeds won’t be trying to sign a replacement should Poveda go in the next few hours.

Since joining Leeds in 2020, the winger has played a tiny part in the team’s operations, and this season, Daniel Farke hasn’t made many changes.

Out of his seven appearances in the Championship this season, only one has been in Farke’s starting lineup.

Additionally, the Colombian’s contract expires in the summer, and he will leave Elland Road on a loan in the next few hours.
