Leeds United Star “Too Expensive” For European Champions

With 28 appearances across all competitions for Leeds United, the Dutch forward has netted 12 goals and provided seven assists. Aston Villa, a Champions League contender, is among the clubs in the top tier that are showing interest in signing him.

The 22-year-old was eager to return to De Kuip before the winter transfer window closed on Thursday night, but a deal for the winger proved to be too costly, according to Feyenoord manager Arne Slot.

“We haven’t been able to locate a player that is practical for us and who bolsters our offense.

It is not hard to locate a player like that. I’ve said that previously since I can recall numerous examples (of guys like this). That must, nevertheless, also be within our means. A player needs to be motivated to join us and have the desire to compete in the Eredivisie.

If only Summerville had been on our side. However, he is too costly.
