Leeds United-owned Luke Ayling plays for Middlesbrough vs Sunderland

Well, on Sunday afternoon, Middlesbrough and Sunderland faced off in the Championship at Riverside Stadium.

The game finished in a draw, 1-1. Marcus Forss gave Boro the lead in minute 61 when he controlled a scuffed shot and blasted it past Anthony Patterson.

On minute eighteen, Nazariy Rusyn gave Sunderland a point again. With a deft assist from Jack Clarke’s left side, the 25-year-old scored past Tom Glover at the near post.

Middlesbrough’s Luke Ayling got the match underway. The player, who is owned by Leeds United, was used as a right back.

Ayling, who signed a loan from Leeds to Middlesbrough during the January

transfer window, faced off against Clarke, who began the game as Sunderland’s left flank.
