After strong performances, Leeds star encourages teammate to take a significant step up by saying

“Things can go quickly” – Leeds star backs teammate for big step up after impressive performances

Joel Piroe, a standout player for Leeds United, has given his friend Crysencio Summerville confidence to keep getting better and “become a really big one” soon.

The forward, who joined Leeds United in the summer, has been talking to Voetbalzone in the Netherlands about his time there.

Since joining the team, he has established himself as a vital member of Daniel Farke’s squad, amassing ten goals and one assist in 29 Championship games thus far—a respectable return on Leeds’ investment.

Though it’s fair to claim that one of the forwards he plays with has overshadowed him, Summerville has been Elland Road’s uncontested star up to this point.

With 27 Championship games played, he has tallied 12 goals and 7 assists, good for fifth place in the league and just four goals behind the joint top two scorers. The assists numbers tell a similar tale: only Gomes Sara of Norwich has generated more opportunities than the Leeds star this year.

Because of this, he is attracting a lot of attention, and Piroe is encouraging his teammate to go to the next level as soon as possible.

“I think Cry at Leeds is great; he can grow into a terrific enormous one,” he remarked.

Although he is still very young, things could move swiftly for him if he keeps

acting this way. And for Orange, too? In my opinion, yes. Why not, given how well he’s been performing this season?
