Kelechi Iheanacho scored the winning penalty, propelling Nigeria into the

Africa Cup of Nations final for the eighth time in their history.

The Super Eagles’ semi-final against South Africa finished 1-1, with Bafana

Bafana’s Grant Kekana being sent off in extra time, sending the game to a penalty shootout.

With Nigeria leading 3-2 in the tiebreaker, Leicester City’s Iheanacho stepped up and scored a penalty low to

the goalkeeper’s left, putting his team one game away from the title. In the other semi-final, they will face either

Ivory Coast or the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The final will be held in the Ivory Coast on Sunday, February 11.
