Lee Hendrie reacts to how furious Leeds player was  against Rotherham

Lee Hendrie responded to the “controversial” nature of Patrick

Bamford’s celebration as Leeds United opened the scoring against Rotherham United on Saturday (10 February).

The Whites took the lead after just 10 minutes at Elland Road against the Championship’s basement boys, with

Bamford claiming he had the final touch, with the ball possibly deflecting off his arm.

Phil Hay subsequently implied that the last contact might have been from the

visiting defender Sean Morrison, but Hendrie, speaking live on Sky Sports

Soccer Saturday at 3:13 pm, mentioned that the away goalkeeper Viktor Johansson was left “infuriated.”

Leeds went on to win 3-0 with Crysencio Summerville scoring twice in the second half..

Leeds United and Patrick Bamford should apologise to no one

Everyone needs to ready the Conor McGregor memes because Leeds and Patrick Bamford should apologise here…to absolutely nobody!

Look, even if there is some controversy the fact is it’s not for Leeds or Bamford to police these incidents, that would be the job of the referee and his officials so that’s just the way the cookie crumbles.

Leeds ultimately secured a 3-0 victory, with Crysencio Summerville netting two goals in the second half.

There’s no need for Leeds United or Patrick Bamford to offer any apologies. Everyone should gear up for the Conor McGregor memes because in this case, Leeds and Bamford owe no apologies… to anyone!

Regardless of any controversy, it’s not Leeds or Bamford’s responsibility to manage such incidents. That falls under the jurisdiction of the referee and match officials. So, as they say, that’s just the way things go in football.
