Thunder sign one-time NCAA champion to two-way deal

Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN has been informed by Adam Flagler’s representatives at Life Sports Agency that the Thunder have decided to offer him a two-way contract.

Flagler, a former Baylor NCAA champion, was not selected in the 2023 draft but made an immediate impression on the

Thunder, joining their Summer League squad in July and signing an Exhibit 10

contract with Oklahoma City in October. Before the regular season started, he was

waived and signed with the Oklahoma City Blue, the Thunder’s G League club.

Flagler has averaged 12.6 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 3.1 assists in 21.2 minutes per game across his 14 regular-season NBAGL games for the Blue, with a shooting line of.445/.420/.900.

The signing of Flagler will be the Thunder’s most recent move in a busy

week full of transactions. Following the deadline trade of Gordon Hayward for

Davis Bertans, Vasilije Micic, and Tre Mann to Charlotte, Oklahoma City added

two-way player Lindy Waters to its regular 15-man roster and signed

Bismack Biyombo for the remainder of the season.

After Flagler’s new two-way contract is finalized, OKC’s roster will include of all 18 players.
